Join us as we honor and remember our nationβs heroes on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2026.
The parade lineup will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wallkill Avenue near the Grange Hall and will follow the same mile-long route as in previous years.
Following the parade, a brief patriotic ceremony and complimentary refreshments will take place at Veterans Memorial Park.
We sincerely appreciate your continued participation and support in making this meaningful community tradition possible.
The Village of Montgomery is making plans for our annual General Montgomery Day, which will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
We are once again seeking the participation of quality craft and antique vendors to help us surpass last year's attendance. The highlight of the celebration will be a high-quality antique and craft show. Additionally, we have designated a separate non-craft section at the end of Clinton Street, where we will be accepting a limited number of non-craft vendor applications.
The Village is planning a full day of activities (rain or shine), including a parade, concert, fireworks, a variety of food concessions, and numerous events and entertainment. The main streets in Montgomery will be closed to traffic for pedestrians throughout the entire day, providing ample space for vendor booths.Β
Each vendor booth spot measures approximately 9 x 17 feet. The Craft vendor fee for the festival is $100.00 and the Non-Craft vendor is $175.00, which includes a special parking pass allowing vendors to park their vehicles in a designated vendor parking area. Space rentals will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
To ensure that only genuine craft dealers participate in General Montgomery Day, all new vendors must submit at least two color pictures of the merchandise they plan to sell. These images must be emailed to us.
This policy applies without exception. Please include your name/business and address in the email to help us verify your application. We maintain strict control over vendor merchandise, and only those selling authentic craft items will be permitted to participate. IF YOU WERE A VENDOR LAST YEAR, NO PICTURES ARE REQUIRED UNLESS YOUR MERCHANDISE HAS CHANGED SIGNIFICANTLY. Anyone selling merchandise that is not a genuine craft or whose merchandise differs significantly from what was originally stated may be required to leave the event.
